Suggestions; we advise you to bring;

  • Bedding towels for washing and beach, teatowels, beach mats, rugs.
  • Cooking equipment, plus plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, unbreakable if possible.
  • Washing-up bowl and bucket.
  • Camping fold-up chairs.
  • Sunscreen and after-sun lotion.
  • Walking clothes and shoes, and Wellington boots.
  • Binoculars for bird-watching and looking at the stars, etc. (the night sky is stunning, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye, shooting stars are frequently seen in summer, there is no light pollution.)
  • It is not possible to lock up tipis, so it is recommended that valuables and money should not be left inside unattended.

The site is situated in a beautiful location beside our farmhouse. It is almost 1 mile from the main road, making it quiet, very safe for children, private, completely silent at night. We are very close to sandy beaches, the South West Coast Path, many ancient Bronze Age sites, the rugged Penwith moors with lovely walks, St. Michael's Mount, St. Ives, Newlyn harbour, Mousehole and the world famous Minack Theatre.
